HELP SPONSOR 14 ZAMBIAN STUDENTS IN A LIFE CHANGING CONSERVATION TRIP TO AUSTRALIA IN APRIL 2019!

Help pre-trip expenses for 14 young Chipembele students embarking on their once in a lifetime trip to Australia. We are responsible for pre-trip funding, passports, visas, suitcases, day packs and good quality walking shoes + incidentals.

Zoos SA our sponsor and partner in the Tisamale Global Exchange are covering flights for two staff, 14 students and the in-country Australia costs.

WHAT IS TISAMALE GLOBAL EXCHANGE?

TISAMALE means We Conserve in the local language.

We at Chipembele are proud to be in partnership with the Mentors at the Zoo MATZ programme at Zoos South Australia ZoosSA. We have come together to create a unique international conservation exchange programme -The Tisamale Global Exchange.

TISAMALE ONE ~ DONE!

Earlier this year seven South Australian university students, members of the MATZ programme at Zoos SA came to Zambia to participate in part one of the Tisamale Global Exchange. Friendships were forged and conservation knowledge shared.

TISAMALE TWO ~ Make dreams come true and join Tisamale too!

Next year, the second part of the programme, named Tisamale Too, will give 14 young Zambians the opportunity to travel to Australia for 3 weeks to learn about the unique wildlife of Australia and to explore the similarities and differences of the conservation challenges faced by both countries.
