UPDATE: A HUGE thank you to everyone who has sponsored us so far, as we aim to virtually cover the distance from Edinburgh to Dubai (the location of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup later this year) in order to raise vital awareness and funds to support Beyond Boundaries' work.
We thought you might like an update to let you know how we have been getting on (see photos!); bagging munros, pounding pavements and hitting the gym are just a few ways we've been clocking up the miles!
Thank you!

The trustees of Scottish cricket charity, Beyond Boundaries, have pledged to trek the distance from Edinburgh to Dubai to raise funds for activity camps across Scotland for disadvantaged and under-represented children and young people.
With the ICC Mens T20 Cricket World Cup scheduled to take place in the United Arab Emirates in October, when the Scotland Mens team will be representing the country 3,500 miles away, we've decided to challenge ourselves to keep our fitness levels up, whilst also raising much-needed funds to support Scottish local community cricket initiatives.
Until 18 October when the tournament is scheduled to start, we, the eight trustees will walk, run, cycle, swim or row the distance from Edinburgh to Dubai (all 3500 miles!), with the aim of raising a pound per mile for Beyond Boundaries' work.
The trustees are: Keith Wilson, Tony Brian, Malcolm Cannon, Angela Casey, Amy Ford, Puneet Gupta, Fraser Porter and Andrew Wallace.
Our Chair, Keith Wilson said: The exercise required to complete our Trek will help our trustees support the work we fund which brings cricket to more disadvantaged people, with a focus on inclusivity. If it helps us to help anyone in Scotland, regardless of race, gender, ability or age, to push beyond their boundaries, then our efforts will have been worthwhile.
Beyond Boundaries transforms lives in Scotland through funding programmes such as tournaments and camps which bring cricket, in all its forms, to young, disadvantaged and underrepresented people. It welcomes applications from clubs, individuals and groups for support for events and initiatives such as summer camps, coaching sessions and community outreach.
Beyond Boundaries sponsorships include: the Disability Cricket programme with Cricket Scotland; community summer camps in disadvantaged areas in Edinburgh and Glasgow; the Beyond Boundaries women and girls cricket T20 tournament; and individual requests for need.
