Story
This October, a community of 60+ runners will be taking on an epic 100km run across wild and rugged Ibiza. As part of a TRIBE, we’ll be pushing our limits to raise £100,000 to support survivors of human trafficking here in the UK. We go further and faster, together. To end modern slavery.
Story
TRIBE Freedom Foundation is a charity, inspired by a 1,000 mile run from Odessa (Ukraine) to Dubrovnik (Croatia) to fight human trafficking and establish the first UK home for trafficked children. This was the first Run for Love. You can watch the story of the origin of the Run for Love series here.
We believe life-changing challenges define us all. As a community, we will support and empower each other to the finish line. This isn’t a race, it’s a shared community experience. Pushing the limits of human physical endurance to fight modern slavery and end human trafficking.
The Challenge
Run for Love Ibiza is the seventh edition of an epic adventure series that has raised over £2 million to support survivors of human trafficking here in the UK. It is an incredible feat of endurance, running 100km of coastal trails over two days from South to North of the Island of Ibiza. Together, runners will push themselves to the limit to complete the challenge and raise vital funds to empower survivors of modern slavery and help them to rebuild their lives in safety and freedom.
The Cause
There are an estimated 50 million victims of slavery globally and 122,000 people living in slavery in the UK. That's over two victims for every thousand people in the country. This needs to stop.
Our goal is to raise £100,000 towards TRIBE Freedom Foundation as we continue our work to fight modern slavery, end human trafficking and empower the survivors across the UK. Read more about our work and our Impact here!
Funds Raised
At TRIBE Freedom Foundation, we champion holistic, long-term support for survivors of modern slavery across the UK and beyond. To date, we have created a life-changing impact for +10,000 survivors and potential victims.
Funds raised will support TRIBE Freedom Foundation and our project partners, to empower greater numbers of survivors across the UK, providing frontline support and enabling them to rebuild their lives with access to safe accommodation, therapy, medical, legal and casework support, education and business mentoring.
2025 Survivor Safehouse Fund
Your support will help TRIBE raise £100,000 in 2025 to help renovate safehouses for survivors across the UK. To do so, we're continuing to partner with front - line charities like Ella's, who opened two brand new 2-bed safehouses last year, one purchased with the help of TRIBE funding.
Across their 6 safehouses, Ella’s is now able to house 17 women and two families at any one time. However, the demand for these rooms is high and once a room becomes available, it is filled within hours. With your support, we can empower even more survivors and help them to rebuild their lives in safety and security.
