The Trowel Blazers are a team from Fresh Start's Growing Spaces service, which offers those in need the opportunity to get outside, build confidence, connect with a community and grow fresh produce. We're excited to be taking on the Edinburgh Kiltwalk to support the work that Fresh Start is doing across the city!

Our team ranges in age from 19 - 87 years old. Some of us have experienced homelessness ourselves, and know first-hand the difference that support from Fresh Start can make. We've all felt the impact of their work, and love spending time together in the gardens, helping to grow and harvest the fruit and vegetables.

The money we raise by doing the Kiltwalk will be used to support Fresh Start's services, so that they can continue their great work!
