For the last year Turkey Street Community Church (TSCC) has been meeting in a disused Mission Hall on Turkey Street. Already the church has a growing congregation that meets on Sunday mornings, and they regularly welcome in people who live on the estate to join them. They run Bible studies, support groups, and community meals.

TSCC has been renting the Mission Hall from London City Mission (LCM), but the building needs to be sold. LCM has granted Together For Mission an exclusive three-year lease with an option to purchase the site (which consists of a church hall, and a house which has already been renovated by LCM.)

The total cost of the church building and house is £1.1 million. Together For Mission, along with our partner church in America, Valleydale Church, Alabama, is aiming to raise £600,000.

Valleydale has already generously pledged £100,000. A professional fundraiser will lead efforts to raise £250,000. We aim to secure a loan to cover £250,000. That leaves £500,000 for us to raise.

We have already raised £95,000 towards that £500,000 we hope to raise. We would love for you to join us in raising money towards the cost of purchasing this site for use by TSCC!
