Some of Dundee’s best business leaders and influencers have agreed to be locked up for Maggie's. Armed with a phone, a laptop, and our powers of persuasion, we need your help to raise bail and get free.

Bail has been set, and we have until 3pm on Friday 13th June to raise it and secure our freedom. We must muster all our powers of persuasion and call on the collective goodwill of our networks to raise funds for Maggie's Dundee. Our freedom—and our reputations—depend on it!

For many people living in Tayside, Angus, and North East Fife, Maggie's Dundee is a beacon of hope, offering a unique programme of practical and psychological support, available free of charge to people with cancer, and to their family and friends.

In the past year, Maggie’s Dundee has welcomed over 12,000 visits, provided thousands of hours of one-to-one psychological and specialist cancer support, and secured over £2.1 million in financial gains for local people.

Maggie’s centres are places to find practical advice and emotional support—places to meet others in a calm and friendly environment where people with cancer find the hope, determination, and resources they need to cope with one of the toughest challenges any of us is likely to face. Maggie’s Dundee is one of 24 Maggie's Centres across the UK.

With over 50% of the population being diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lifetime, it has never been more essential to have the support of Maggie’s alongside medical care. Our own research shows that 3 in 5 people find the mental impact of diagnosis harder than the physical—and that’s why our programme of support is designed to deliver the best possible practical and psychological care.
