We are inviting our friends around the world to put one foot in front of the other in May 2025 and #WalkForNepal.
Our goal is to raise £10,000 to help fund the building of two much-needed schools, providing safer and brighter futures for children in these hard-to-reach communities.
Together, each step we take will add up to something extraordinary - a step towards change.
We invite you to join us over the weekend of 9-11 May 2025 as together, we Walk For Nepal
You could walk alone or with friends and family, organise an event at your school or in your local community.
It’s up to you! Set yourself a challenge that fits you and those walking with you. Set yourself a time or distance goal. 3 hours or 3 days. 3km or 30 miles. Climb a mountain or follow your local canal. Step out onto familiar trails or explore somewhere new!
Shree Latakunja Basic School was severely damaged during the 2015 earthquake. Despite the teachers’ dedication, the school remains unsafe, with students and staff facing daily fear that the building could collapse at any moment.
Shree Ganesh Himal Basic School, located in the remote village of Dobhan, provides education for 27 children under the age of eight years old. The building is in a critical condition after earthquake damage and is vulnerable to future disasters.
While we’ve secured a large portion of the funding for these projects, we need your help to bring them across the finish line and make these schools a reality.
How far can we walk together? - You can set a personal target and join the collective challenge to see how far we can walk together! Can we collectively walk the distance between Kathmandu and Pokhara: 200 km or 262,400 steps or walk the total length of Nepal: 880 km?
If we all take a step together, we can take a step towards change!
