Story

Lebanon Deployment 2023

The journey does not stop here....

In March 2023 (The first weekend of Ramadan) 12 Volunteers across the UK were given the opportunity to visit Lebanon for a charity deployment.

This was one of the most heart breaking experiences and a very big eye opener for all the volunteers. Some did not sleep or barely eat during the trip knowing that there are our brothers and sisters are out there in different camps coming from Syria and Palestine who are surviving on minimal food and drink.

One particular camp they visited in Aakkar brought the team to tears. They met brother Muhammed who mentioned they have no clean water to drink due to it all being very contaminated. The team came together and decided to do something for this particular camp and raise money for solar panels. These solar panels will power the well which will provide clean water to the whole camp.

These families have been living in these poor conditions for nearly 11 years!

Please donate generously! zakat & sadaqah accepted!
