Story
On 19th September 2027, Wallington County Grammar School will be 100 years old.
Our school motto, “Through Difficulties to the Heights,” reminds us that the path to success is often not easy, but it is always worth the climb. To continue providing the rich, diverse learning experiences that help our students reach new heights, we rely on the support of our School community.
That’s where you come in.
By contributing to our School Educational Fund, you help ensure that we can keep offering the opportunities that allow our pupils to thrive, no matter the challenges we face.
You can make an incredible difference. A contribution of £40 per month (or whatever you feel able to give) will help us continue providing the enriching experiences that set Wallington County Grammar School apart.
Your contribution to the School Fund directly supports activities such as:
> The continuation of over 30 clubs and societies, including Med Prep, Oxbridge Club, Girls Active and Computer Programming Society
> The delivery of our unique Politics, Philosophy and Economics curriculum for 450 students in Years 8-10
> Run rugby and cricket teams in all year groups, as well as coach our superb table tennis teams
> The Extended Project Qualification, enabling Sixth Formers to undertake independent research projects
> The maintenance of our school’s sporting facilities at Clockhouse in Woodmansterne and the staffing of Saturday sporting fixtures
> Keep class sizes to 30 or below in all subjects across all year groups
