Wallington County Grammar School has been named as one of the top 25 cricketing state schools in the UK*

This page is dedicated to supporting and developing cricket at the school, including the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka in 2026.

Donations to this page will help contribute to:

• Upkeep and maintenance of the outdoor nets

• Updating cricket equipment for all students

• New batting equipment and balls for lessons and fixtures

• Funding to continue partnership and planning for invitational fixtures such as The Forty Club and FBA / Army

• Supporting projects such as a new pavilion and changing rooms

• Supporting the maintenance of the cricket grounds with upgrading the current ground maintenance equipment

• Funding upgrading our current astroturf wicket to a new and improved one for matches and training

• Supporting trips to county and international fixtures

• Funding playing kit for the Sri Lanka 2026 Senior Cricket Tour

This will be the first Senior Cricket Tour in a number of years, after previous plans were scuppered due to Covid. It is a fantastic opportunity for students to get a real sense of life in Asia, experiencing new cultures and serene surroundings.
