Welcare provide practical and emotional for families with children up to the age of 13 across across South London and East Surrey. We help strengthen families, empower parents, and improve the life chances of children and young people. Our aim is to intervene early and help families build resilience and confidence.

The children and families we support face difficult situations due to domestic abuse, parental conflict, mental health, emotional and well-being issues, social isolation or the challenges caused by low income and the cost-of-living crisis.

Our dedicated Family Support Workers support families in a number of ways, including tailored one-to-one whole family work, targeted groupwork programmes for children and parents, and practical and financial support.

This year Team Welcare will be running the Saucony London 10k to raise funds to support our essential work with children and families. Our fabulous team consists of Welcare staff and their friends and family, as well as a few of our amazing supporters, including the wonderful Sue, who has ran the London 10k for Welcare for many years.
