Story
A team of WMRSASC staff are taking on the Welsh Three Peaks Challenge, climbing Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Pen y Fan in under 24hrs, to raise vital funds for survivors of rape and sexual abuse across our region.
This challenge represents determination, resilience and solidarity - values that sit at the heart of our work. Every day, WMRSASC supports people whose lives have been impacted by sexual violence, offering free, confidential and specialist services including counselling, advocacy and early intervention support for children, young people and adults.
For many survivors, reaching out for help takes immense courage. The support they receive can be life-changing, helping them feel believed, safer and able to move forward at their own pace. However, demand for specialist sexual violence services continues to grow, and sustained funding is essential to ensure support is available when it’s needed most.
By donating to this campaign, you are helping to fund trauma-informed care delivered by trained practitioners who understand the complex impact of sexual violence. Your support helps ensure survivors are not left to navigate trauma alone and that children and families can access early intervention to prevent further harm.
Each member of our team is committed to raising a minimum of £300 to take part in the challenge, and every contribution — large or small — helps us reach our goal.
We are facing over 17 miles of hiking and 1,500m of ascent in one day -which starts at 2am and finishes around 8pm - a real test of endurance, teamwork, and determination!
Thank you for supporting the WMRSASC Welsh Three Peaks Challenge and for standing alongside survivors. Together, we can help build safer, more hopeful futures.
