We are asking Bolton businesses to join our Workplace Raise-a-thon and do what you can, anytime from October to December 2021 to help us reach our target of £36,000 which will help to pay for an in-patient bed for 3 months. No matter the size, every single donation to Bolton Hospice makes a difference to the lives of our patients and their loved ones.

Bolton Hospice remains on the front line of the response to the Covid-19 pandemic and our vital care and support for local people has continued throughout. Our inpatient unit remains open, providing 24 hour care and support for patients who need care within the hospice. We have increased our Hospice at Home service, doubling the capacity of this team to enable us to care for more patients than ever before in their own homes.

The pandemic has impacted Bolton Hospice in a number of ways financially in particular the closure of our charity shops and café, and the cancellation of many of our planned fundraising events. These two sources of income alone account for over £1.7 million annually - 36% of our total income.
