What's happening in Yemen?

Yemen is the largest humanitarian crisis in the world, with more than 24 million people some 80 per cent of the population in need of humanitarian assistance, including more than 12 million children. Since the conflict escalated in March 2015, the country has become a living hell for the country's children. [UNICEF]

COVID-19 Amongst the Most Vulnerable.

With COVID-19 now spreading across the country, Yemen is facing an emergency within an emergency. Sanitation and clean water are in short supply. Only half of health facilities are functioning, and many that remain operational lack basic equipment like masks and gloves, let alone oxygen and other essential supplies to treat the coronavirus. Many health workers are receiving no salaries or incentives. [UNICEF]

HRF In Yemen

HRF have been actively been working with authorities in Yemen to distribute aid throughout it's entirety. It is one of the few charities with this right. A heavy focus has been put on food aid and water tanks, as this is the greatest need for those internally displaced in the country. Thousand's have been aided with your support.

What Can You Do To Help?

We need as many of you as possible to help with this effort. To help 20 million people is far-fetched, but to help one family anyone can do. Each food packs costs £60 and gives a family food for one month. We need you to fundraise between your friends and family and donate whatever you can all afford. Together, we can make a huge difference to countless thousands. Thousands that have nothing! You'll be the one making a difference to their lives!
