Christmas is an especially difficult time for individuals at risk of homelessness.

Could you help us to show our young people and those we support in our community who are most in need that they are thought of, worthy and celebrated as individuals?

YMCA Derbyshire supports 245 individuals and families each night, providing a safe place to live, food, therapeutic counselling, opportunities to improve wellbeing, access to accredited vocational training, and be supported towards employment.

The Padley@YMCA Derbyshire’s Day Centre provides support for over 300 individuals a month at risk of homelessness and poverty. This includes hot meals, emergency food parcels, a warm space and support, advice and guidance on a range of issues.access to health and wellbeing activities each day.

This Christmas, we’d love to put a smile on the faces of those we support by providing delicious meals and a gift. We also want to provide additional support to those most in need through the provision of health and wellbeing activities and vital support both during Christmas and in to 2024.
