Organised by Friends of Tameside Young CarersThere are nearly 500 young carers in Tameside, wonderful young people who spend much of their free time looking after family members. These young people range in age from from primary age to 18.

Visit the charity's profileAs a charity, Friends of Tameside Young Carers raise funds to give the young people treats and trips throughout the year, which otherwise they wouldn't experience.
This year our main fundraiser is the Young Carers Big Walk - a 32 mile walk around Tameside, taking place over 2 days. Some adults will complete the whole walk, with some young carers joining us for sections of the walk.
If you are able to help, we, and especially our young people, will really appreciate it.
