🎉 Zipslide the Clyde is Back for Round Two! 🎉
CACE is back with a bang for our second year of Zipslide the Clyde! Our fearless fundraisers are gearing up to take the leap off a towering 100ft crane, right beside the Glasgow Riverside Museum. Picture the excitement as they zip along a heart-pounding 1000ft journey, heading straight for the majestic tall ship on the River Clyde. ⛵😱
But this adventure is about more than just the adrenaline rush. Every pound raised goes directly toward funding CACE's vital services. At CACE our support, touches the lives of around 300 elderly individuals each month in Cumbernauld and its surrounding areas. From activity groups, befriending, outings, and community transport, we're dedicated to combating social isolation, loneliness, and low self-esteem, to improve the well-being of our community's elderly residents. ❤️
One of our service users captures the essence of CACE's impact:
“Services help with loneliness, isolation, keeping active, giving people something to look forward to, making friends, someone to talk to. It also helps to give carers some time to themselves, knowing their loved one is being cared for in a safe & caring environment.”
Eve a CACE volunteer and fundraiser:
“The Zip Slide was a fun experience that I’m immensely happy I had the opportunity to take part in. I would recommend taking part to others looking for a good way to spend their time, support a worthy cause, and challenge themselves.”
How You Can Help
