Story

Hey there! 👋 As you know, I'm taking on the Zipslide the Clyde challenge and I'm reaching out to you with an exciting opportunity to make a real impact. On the 10th of September 2023, I'll be braving a heart-pounding 100ft crane jump right beside the iconic Glasgow Riverside Museum. Ziplining along a 1000ft wire, aiming straight for the stunning tall ship on the river Clyde. ⛵😱 But this isn't just about the adrenaline rush. Every pound raised will directly contribute to CACE's essential services. CACE is a small charity that provides support to around 300 elderly individuals each month in Cumbernauld and the surrounding area. Offering activity groups, befriending, outings, and community transport, to combat social isolation and loneliness. ❤️ I believe that together, we can make an impact. By supporting my fundraising efforts for CACE, you're contributing to a cause that truly matters. Your donation, big or small, will make a difference!!🌟

About the charity

CACE was initially founded in 1990 to provide a number of different services which support older people in the Cumbernauld and the surrounding areas. We do this by offering various groups, outings and transport. Our aim is to promote the welfare of vulnerable older people and their carers.
