A HEADWAY HERO!

We reckon anyone brave enough to take on the Velocity zip wire at Zip World is a hero!

Doing the world’s fastest zip wire will be an unforgettable, amazing, adrenaline fuelled experience for sure, but it’s also an opportunity to raise much-needed funds towards a Birmingham charity that is often overlooked, but has been delivering vital brain injury services in the local community for over 40-years – Headway Birmingham & Solihull.

All money raised will help our local brain injury services. This includes social rehab sessions from our brain injury hubs in Moseley, Rednal and Wylde Green, and one-to-one support for those with brain injury at home or out in the community across the whole of Birmingham and Solihull. It also includes our Family & Carer Services, providing emotional and practical support to those with a brain injured loved one in the family.

We strive to do the very best we can for the brain injured community - and this includes new services like our therapy suite at Sutton House and a new vocational programme at Headway House designed to help those with brain injury take the next steps towards volunteering or paid employment.
