I am planning to join Headway’s sponsored Zip Wire adventure on Saturday 22 March and would be grateful if you would sponsor me!

This involves travelling to Zip World in North Wales to go on the famous Velocity zip line, which is said to be the fastest zip line in the world as well as one of the longest in Europe!

Once togged up In a harness, helmet and goggles, I’ll go on the Little Zip first, reaching speeds of 30-40mph, then I’ll have a truck ride along a bumpy track to the very top of the mountain, ready for the main challenge – the Big Zip - where I’ll be soaring along the quarry for approx a mile at speeds of 100mph or more!! Scary!!!

All money raised will go to Headway Birmingham & Solihull, a fantastic local charity supporting people impacted by brain injury.
