Story

Two dads from school, aka the hare and the tortoise (so named for their respective shapes and speeds) are attempting to raise £25,000 for the village school. The school suffers from poor government funding and without efforts such as this, updating resources is incredibly difficult.

The hare and tortoise set off on 26 February to cycle 1200 miles from John O'Groats to Lands End on mountain bikes.  Unfortunately the Beast from the East has tried its hardest to stop them.  It has not succeeded!  The route and tactics have changed to keep the boys safe, but they are pushing on!  It's an amazing effort...

They are also live linking to the school every day (when it's not closed for snow!) to enable the maximum curriculum interest for the children, who are having a real lesson in the meaning of endeavour…
