"A combination of legislation and education has assisted the partial recovery of a number of bat species including the soprano pipistrelle" - State of Nature 2016 Report
The evidence we have suggests that our efforts are slowly bearing fruit. The populations of the 11 bat species we are able to monitor appear to be stable or slowly increasing.
But this is no time for us to become complacent; we still have a long way to go before our bats recover from the massive historical declines that occurred in the last century. We feel that this is our chance to harness that momentum and keep heading in the right direction.
Please help us raise £5,000. With your support we will ensure that future generations will always be able to enjoy the pleasure of watching bats fly out at dusk to catch insects in the fading sunlight. Every donation, whether large or small, makes a real difference!
