The British Hen Welfare Trust has saved over 600,000 hens from slaughter to date. In order to keep doing this we rely on the generosity of our supporters, which is why we're hoping as many people as possible will chuck the chocs during Lent and ask friends and family to sponsor their efforts. The challenge begins on Shrove Tuesday (13 February) and there'll be a special chocolatey prize for whoever raises the most by Easter Sunday (1 April)!
