BirdLife Australia 2017 Twitchathon
The Birdlife Australia Twitchathon is a race to see and hear the most birds in a set time, while raising funds for bird conservation initiatives!

This year, the Twitchathon will be held on October 28 and 29, so mark the dates in your diaries and check back here for updates!
Last year, the Twitchathon was able to fund habitat creation and rehabilitation on breeding islands for Gould’s Petrels and White-faced Storm-petrels in NSW, surveys for the Capricorn Yellow Chat in QLD, monitoring of the isolated population of Australasian Bitterns in WA, and much more!
In the end, the event raised over $30,000, thanks of course to the dedicated twitchers who took part. Thank you for your support.
