Story

The Inspiration

A very special person continues to be our inspiration. Scarlett was first diagnosed with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia) in January 2011, and remains under treatment at the time of writing.

The way in which Scarlett and her whole family have faced this horrendous disease has humbled us all. Their courage, bravery and resilience continues to propel us onwards with our fundraising. The fact that in the face of great adversity they have created and continued with such a special entity as Scarlett’s Dragons, with the sole purpose of raising money for Bloodwise, demonstrates an amazing ability to think of others despite their own situation.

Scarlett’s parents, Dan and Bryony have been, and remain, staunch supporters of research into the treatment and prevention of blood cancers, which is why we remain so focused in our support of Bloodwise.
