Story
The ChoraChori refuge is an indispensable part of our child rescue and family reunification programme. After we rescue trafficked and displaced Nepalese children from India it acts as the reception centre where we can begin rehabilitation. While processing child trauma we trace families for reunification when the time is right.
Unfortunately sometimes families can't be found or the children may be runaways from an abusive domestic environment. In these circumstances we need to look after children for longer. Nevertheless we do this to a very high standard with the children enjoying a full education and lots of recreation.
We have repatriated 71 children from India since August 2015 and are now looking after just 15 at the refuge. Please support these children and new arrivals in 2017 by helping us raise £30,000 - and share this link! Many thanks
