Story
All fundraising from DeutscheRun will go directly to the bank’s two Charities of the Year, Autistica and Hope and Homes for Children.
Autistica funds world-class scientific research into the causes, diagnosis and treatment of autism. Autism costs over £32 billion a year – more than any other condition – yet it’s one of the least funded areas in research. With the help of employees, Autistica will transform the face of autism in the UK and ensure brighter futures for all children and families affected.
Hope and Homes for Children are recognised as global experts in deinstitutionalisation, working across eight national programmes in Europe and Africa, and with strategic influence across a further 21 countries worldwide. By closing orphanages, supporting children into loving families and preventing family breakdown, the charity is working towards a day when orphanages have been eradicated for good.
