The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileA fire caused by a serious electrical fault has meant we have been forced to temporarily close our doors to the 170 families we support. We have continued to support children and their families through delivering Hospice at Home care, but as it costs £10,000 every day to run the charity, the closure, coupled with the fundraising HQ being out of action, has led to us losing up to £140,000 and counting.
Despite working hard to repair the building, there is still no definite timeframe of when the hospice will be fully up and running again so we need your help to get us back on our feet.
The fire, which took place on the 12th January, affected the main power supply, meaning that the whole building needs rewiring, redecorating and refurnishing. The majority of the rebuild costs will be covered by insurers but the loss of fundraising hours and income is a huge concern.
Thank you for any support you can offer. Please share our appeal with your friends, family and work colleagues.
