Story
From Scotland are raising money to provide a new borehole at Ndelema village in the Chikwawa area of Southern Malawi.
We have already provided support to help build a nursery building/feeding station in this village.
Ndelema has a very active community committee and they provided all the bricks water and sand for the nursery building.
Their previous waterpoint, which they were also using for permaculture, has dried up but also had issues with contamination so a new water supply is desperately needed.
Our aim would be to raise enough money to provide a new borehole plus water storage to enable water to be supplied to the nursery and support the permaculture development for which they have received training. This will definitely maximise the use of any water by allowing them to grow a variety of crops.
Please support this appeal to allow this community a better and safer standard of living.
