Story

As new children arrive with us from the streets and slums all the time, Team Future Hope is aiming to raise enough to provide six children with an all-round education at our school. Help them smash their target of at £4,650 and provide the key to break the cycle of poverty for more children who need our help.

Having witnessed the life-changing care at Future Hope, the team of 6 is determined to raise as much money as it can for the children in Kolkata.

As Sophie explains:

I was kindly given the amazing opportunity to spend 3 months teaching at the school 2 years ago, and I can honestly say that they are the kindest and loveliest  children I have ever met. Every one of them is capable of achieving amazing things. The happiness that they bring to others is inspiring! They deserve all of the support in the world, which is why I will be running for them in October!

There is no dearth of vulnerable street and slum children in Kolkata who need help. While it might appear that the number of children on the streets has declined, there are many children out there begging, abused, lacking in basic nutrition or being denied an education.
