Story
Parenting is tough enough. Doing it on your own can be tougher still. Single parents face the same worries and fears as any other parent, but it can be hard when there is no one to share the burden with. Who do you turn to when your child has chicken pox but you can’t miss another day at work? Who do you lean on when your baby won't stop crying and you don’t know why?
Having support from those who understand is vital to all parents, but particularly for those doing it alone.
As the UK's leading single parent charity, we provide support and advice to help single parents facing hard times.
Our groups and membership make sure that no single parent feels they’re raising a family alone. They offer somewhere to turn when things get tough and help single parents deal with the challenges parenting throws at them.
But providing a 24 hr support network that any single parent can access requires significant funding - and the demand for our services is extremely high. Will you help us meet that need?
