On Sunday 3 December, we will be taking part in a 10K in Victoria Park to help raise money for Gingerbread, the charity for single parent families across the UK. To make it a bit more interesting, and possibly more difficult, we're doing the 10K dressed in Santa suits... it's going to be a hot one. 

Please donate whatever you can to help support our cause - we've each set a target of £100 but would love to smash this. We'd also love it if you could come and support us on the big day - come and watch us attempt this 10K challenge without being hot, sweaty messes in our Santa suits. Cerys is a festive-fanatic and is unbelievably excited to dress up as Santa too. Wouldn't be surprised if she wears it to work the next day.

1 in 4 families in the UK are now headed by a single parent, with around 2 million single parents in total, however many single parent families continue to experience poverty, disadvantage and stigma. Gingerbread is the leading charity working with single parent families and offer...

- Membership and groups services, to allow single parents to meet others in similar situations, have access to advice and special discounts and offers, and to join local friendship groups to make them feel like they're not alone
