The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.

Story

In 2016/17 we have chosen Guide Dogs as our charity partner to help make a difference to the lives of people living with sight loss.

As runners, we all enjoy being active and achieving our personal running goals – be that PBs, trying new events or running further, and as demonstrated by our moto #NoOneRunsAlone, we welcome and support anyone who joins us.

It was therefore a popular choice to support a charity whose aim is to help people with sight loss to enjoy the same freedom of movement and independence as we do.

Our aim is to raise enough funds to name a guide dog puppy and help give someone the means to live life as they choose and to step out into the world again with confidence.

We will be organising a number of events to achieve our fundraising goal and will be posting updates on here – so keep checking back!

Thank you for your support.
