Story
Whether you’re chucking out chocolate, ditching the drink or swerving sweets this Lent, why not support Harrison’s Fund by donating the cash you save.
Simply squirrel away the money you’d be spending on your weekly (or daily!) treats, and make a donation this cEaster! Be sure to enjoy the end of the campaign and celebrate fEaster with a few treats!
Over the next 2 years, Harrison’s Fund has committed £236,000 to fund clinical trial positions at Great Ormond Street Hospital. These roles are vital to ensure promising research comes out of the labs to benefit people with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Duchenne is a fatal muscle wasting condition which means that those who have it lose the strength in all the muscles in their bodies.Typically a child will lose the ability to walk by the time they are 12. Eventually, because the heart is a muscle too, people with Duchenne will die in their late teens or early 20s.
Help us #maketime for kids like Harrison and support us this cEaster. Thank you.
