Story

On Saturday 11th February, 'Herts for Refugees', 'Derbyshire Refugee Solidarity' & 'Phone credit for refugees and displaced people' will be taking part in a sponsored sleep out. This is to experience the brutal conditions our refugee friends across Europe are facing daily.There will be no perks, or special treatment for us!

Why are we doing it?We want to raise funds to buy essential items. Donations for Paris will go towards priority items such as sleeping bags, bivvy bags, thermals, food etc. These items are going to save lives, especially as weather conditions continue to plummet below -5 degrees at night.

We are a Hertfordshire based charity, raising funds to support the refugee crisis throughout Europe and further afield To date, we have worked in collaboration with a number of other groups in order to provide volunteers and vital aid to places such as Syria, Iraq, France, Lebanon and Greece.
