In 2017 we want to cover a whopping 35,000 miles - a mile for every child who will come into care this year, to raise money to help us find a home for every child who needs one.
Story
Every year in the UK, 35,000 children are removed from chaotic, neglectful, traumatic or abusive situations, and taken into care.
In 2017, we want to cover 35,000 miles - a mile for every child, to raise money to help groups all across the country raise the profile of children in care and offer support to foster carers, adoptive parents and the children they look after.
Our vision is a home for every child who needs one. Home for Good is a UK-wide charity that is raising awareness of the desperate need for foster and adoptive parents, encouraging families to provide loving homes for children in care, and equipping churches to offer welcoming communities for foster and adoptive families.
This is the heart of the Home for Good mission: to transform the lives of some of the most vulnerable children through stable foster and adoptive families.
