Story
Spending Christmas day in a hospital bed far from family, friends and all they hold precious was sadly the only option for nearly 500 young cancer patients last Christmas. At this time of year our thoughts turn to more young people, who will have to face that same experience this year.
Youth Development Worker:
Spending Christmas in hospital is incredibly difficult for our patients and their families and so receiving an unexpected gift from the Laura Crane Trust is a really welcome surprise and lets the young people know that there are others out there who care and are thinking about them.
These young people are facing a very different Christmas to the one that we are all hoping for and your generosity will mean that this Christmas, a young cancer patient will receive a special age appropriate gift to give them hope, courage and determination in the knowledge that we are thinking of them and they are not fighting cancer alone.
Our wish is to make a world of difference to these young people
