Our goal for the next five years is to close the global oximetry gap as well as reducing surgical site infections through Clean Cut and considering other discrete programmes to make surgery safe.  To accomplish this we will need to leverage all that we have learned in the past five years and increase our capacity at all levels of the organization.  

We are extremely fortunate in having received a matching grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation to build that capacity.  In providing these funds the Foundation’s Chief Financial Officer commended Lifebox for our unique approach to providing “equipment with training, and advocacy with action – the four elements that we think result in the biggest impact when combined.”
