Maria Luisa de Moreno International Foundation UK is supporting a project in Bangalore, created by Global Concerns India (GCI). We give Scholarships to very poor children who were under the risk of child labour and prostitution. Scholarships include study, uniform and one meal a day. Help us help!

Story

In the year 2000, Maria Luisa de Moreno Foundation was established in Colombia by its director Dr Maria Luisa De Moreno, with the objective to offer support through social programs to families in need in orderto access to basic foods and education for a better quality of life.

Today, the Foundation's UK Branch is supporting aproject created in Bangalore byGlobal Concerns India (GCI), to give scholarships to 100 children who live in extreme state of poverty.Each scholarship costs £120 and includes uniforms, school supplies and one meala day for each child during a school year term, 10 months.

The Foundation's UK branch already donated on 27th April 2015, scholarships to 31children. These 16girls and 15 boys were at risk to be forced into child labour and prostitution.

Our goal is to raise funds to givescholarships to the other 69 children, who are still waiting for their chanceto improve their present quality of life, and to acquire the tools for a betterfuture. Help us to help others!
