The Marylebone Centre offers sewing classes which have proved very popular over the last few years. The classes provide a space to learn hand and machine sewing skills in a relaxed and friendly environment. As well as learning new skills the students also benefit from the social and relaxation aspects of the classes. 

“So far I’ve made a cushion cover, then an apron and now I’m working on this blanket. At first, I found sewing difficult, but now I think it’s very relaxing! I’m grateful for the chance of learning this new skill.”(Sewing class student)

The classes are restricted with only 4 sewing machines available for up to 10 students at any one class. We are therefore raising money to pay for 4 more sewing machines.
