Trindledown Farm understands that dogs often find the kennel environment unsettling and stressful, especially the older dogs used to certain lifestyle.
The dog rooms at Trindledown Farm are not like your usual kennels. A sofa or armchair, television for sound and voice comfort, inside and outside area for clean and natural toileting behaviour gives the dogs a sense of familiar surroundings.
We know you can teach an old dog new tricks!
With the recent sever flood our secure dog run is ruined. We have the opportunity to start from scratch and create an exciting new enrichment space.
The large dog run will be designed to engage and stimulate the dog’s senses; it will include a variety of sights, smells and textures and will provide the dogs with novel, positive experiences to help them relax and boost their confidence. Securing the dog run by ending fences will allow a dog the freedom to experience life off the lead in a safe and enriching environment.
Many dogs that come to us are still physically active and will benefit from the discipline and trust that develops from using agility equipment. Amongst all of this will be fun, interactive opportunities such as a digging section, water play area, tyre tunnels and treat-seeking zones.
This is such a useful space for the dogs to show off to their new potential adopters too!
A simple donation can change the experience of a homeless abandoned dog at Trindledown Farm while they wait for their forever families.
