The North East Trust for Aphasia (NETA) supports people with aphasia and their carers. Aphasia means difficulties with communication, often following stroke. The person with aphasia can have problems speaking, understanding, reading and writing. This can have major effects for both the person and their family in terms of social life, work and relationships.

Story

From 9 May until early June (aphasia awareness month) people will be working towards their personal walking goals to raise money towards the North East Trust for Aphasia support centre at Newcastle University.  You can donate here.
