LONDON TO PARIS BIKE RIDE FOR BREAST CANCER

1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetimes and, as such, it is the most common cancer in women in the UK.

Cancer can be an isolating and frightening experience and the Oxford Breast Buddy Group (OBBG) is an Oxford based group supporting anyone affected by breast cancer. Group members all have personal experience of breast cancer and, whilst experiences differ from person to person, we all recognise the need for extra help that cannot always be met by the health services. We aim to offer psychological and practical support to those who have had or are undergoing treatment for breast cancer. The group formed at the beginning of 2015 and registered as a charity in May 2016.

In August 2017 a team for OBBG, including medical personnel and patients, will be cycling from London to Paris.
