We work in Palestine, and in the refugee camps of Jordan and Lebanon, and our 2017 program cycle is providing almost 6,500 children with sports programs as a means of getting them off the streets and into sanctuaries in which they can feel safe, learn, grow. and thrive. Our work creates much needed job opportunities for hundreds of coaches in a very dire economic environment. Through sports we teach the children work-ethics, leadership and team work and add social and civic components such as awareness about the perils of smoking and drugs, the importance of personal hygiene and education.
