Visit the charity's profileCan you read more books this summer holiday than all your friends? Are you heading for a long summer break, and have a nose for books? Did you know that YOU can help a child in India simply by reading more this summer? Do you want to win Waterstones and Gaylord vouchers?
You can create your own campaign linked to the Pratham UK Readathon Campaign page here, deciding your own reading and fundraising goals. For more information about how to get involved and set up your own fundraising page in only 6 steps, click here.
Your starting goal can be as simple as 10/10/10/10- Read 10 books this summer, get 10 donations of £10 each, thus helping 10 children in India learn to read and do arithmetic for a whole year! Yes, it only takes £10 to sponsor a child's education for one year.
Make reading fun by challenging yourself, or asking an adult to set a challenge for you, or forming teams and competing, or just organising your own reading and games party in the sun! Don't forget to share your story with everyone you know to get as many donations as possible.
Please contact office@pratham.org.uk in case of any questions, and we will get back to you very soon.
