Story

Welcome to my Readathon 2017 Page!

I need your help to support 10 children for one year as they learn to read and do arithmetic. I love reading, and this summer, I will read 10 books and improve my own learning. You will donate to my page to support me. That money will go to Pratham, whose mission is to get every child in school and learning well. Pratham will use that money to run free learning camps for children all over India, helping them to read, write and count.

Did you know that it only takes £10 to support a child’s education for one year?

My Goal is to raise funds for 20 children this summer.

I hope you help me reach my goal by 30 September- remember, every little bit counts!

Thank you,

Sakshi

Pratham is one of the largest education NGOs in India. In the words of Nobel Laureate Abhijit Banerjee, "Pratham's impact on the lives of millions of kids has been tremendous; it is quite simply an exceptional, best-in-class organisation that has managed to scale across India."
