RU OK today?
The RU OK? Day is a series of multi-agency event to raise awareness of how a kind word or quick conversation can help lift the mood of someone who might be feeling low.
Story
Not everyone finds it easy to start a conversation about feelings and it is not always obvious when people are struggling.
But simple human contact - knowing that you’re not alone with your troubles and that someone will listen – can make a big difference, even at the most difficult of times.
At our events across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland we ask people: 'RU OK today?' Our volunteers will be there to listen to anyone who needs to talk.
Your support will fund the materials we need to spread our message beyond the train station, to encourage the people we meet on that day to be a friend and just ask: 'RU OK today'?
