Story
The Restart Rugby Alpine Challenge is the trek of a lifetime and is supported by former professional England rugby players Charlie Hodgson, Ben Clarke and Tamara Taylor. Taking on 3 peaks, in 3 countries, in 3 days, our intrepid trekkers will cover more than 60km, ascend a total of 4,500m and take on Testa Della Tronche in Italy, Tete Ronde in Switzerland and Le Brevent in France.
Together we aim to raise £30,000 for Restart Rugby's work supporting professional rugby players suffering from serious illness, injury or hardship. Restart Rugby provides practical and financial support during these difficult times, helping with medical and rehabilitation costs, home improvements and disabled access. We help players transition out of rugby and into another career. We also provide emotional support for players and their families through our 24-hour counselling service.
The Alpine Challenge will raise vital funds to enable us to be there for players when they have nowhere else to turn.
