Story

This will be the third year the Lawn Tennis Association, Aegon Championships and Queen’s Club have supported The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, after the successful Rally Against Cancer event started in 2013.

At the 2014 tournament, following the death of former British No.1 player Elena Baltacha, Rally for Bally brought together both The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and The Elena Baltacha Foundation as beneficiaries of the tennis world’s support.

The money raised over the last two years has helped fund leading-edge translational and clinical research at The Royal Marsden, allowing us to do more studies of national and international importance, and to invest in the latest facilities, equipment and technology.

About the charity

We raise money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and ground-breaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
