Story
Ask your pupils, colleagues or friends to donate a suggested £1 each to wear their favourite PJs for the day to help keep families close to their children in hospital far from home.
Wearing PJs is the easiest way to take part in PJ Day, but if you would like to organise more activities to help raise funds we have lots of ideas for you. Why not organise a cake sale, tie in PJ Day with your sports day or have a sponsored silence.
When Samuel was taken to hospital his family didn’t know how they were going to cope being so far away from family and friends: “When I stepped into the House I was very emotional! To be welcomed at the door of the House by such a friendly face – I immediately felt better and more positive. Being able to come back to the room each night and get some proper sleep, shower and prepare myself for what the day would hold was invaluable.” Emily, Samuel’s mum
